記者会見では、トマス・S・モンソンは末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会の新しい大管長に聖任されたと発表されました。モンソン大管長は大管長会第一顧問としてヘンリー・B・アイリングと大管長会第二顧問としてディーター・F・ウークトドルフを選びました。

 

In a news conference it was announced that Thomas S. Monson was set apart as the new president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has chosen Henry B. Eyring as his first counselor and Dieter F. Uchtdorf as his second counselor.

 

ボイド・K・パッカー会長は十二使徒定員会会長になりました。
