We have just read your Meridian article about the death of Brother Bodily.  We hadn't known him for long but have lasting memories of him and his kindness.  He was on an assignment for the university in Sapporo when we lived there, now over thirty years ago.  We don't remember how long he was there but do remember his activities at church and with our family.  He was very thoughtful of the children, and there is a photo of him with our two small children in our album.  Just as they were finishing their last mission in Tokyo, we happened to meet them in the temple cafeteria just before they were leaving for home and recognized each other.  He really was a man who worked quietly and with great faith.
