Wade:
Thank you for sharing your feelings about the future of the Kingdom of God in Japan. Your love of the Japanese people and your desire that they receive all the blessings of the gospel are evident.
While presiding over Japan I became convinced that millions of our Japanese brothers and sisters will come into the church and I also became convinced that these millions will be brought into the church by the Japanese members themselves. Your feelings as to how the Japanese members will come to do this great work sound to me to be correct.
It will be interesting to see how much will be accomplished in the next fifty years. Looking back over the last fifty years I am surprised that much more has not been accomplished. I am surprised that the Japanese members did not accomplish what I expected they would accomplish. With you I firmly believe the next fifty years will see a great surge in the growth of the Kingdom of God in Japan.
