A farmer and a banker rode together on a train. They started talking. The banker said, "Let's play a game." "What kind of game?" said the farmer. "A quiz game," said the banker. "How does it work?" asked the farmer. "It is easy." said the banker. "I ask you a question. If you know the answer, I give you 1,000 yen. If you don't, you give me ¥1,000. Then it is your turn to ask me. If I don't know the answer, I give you ¥1,000. If I know, You give me ¥1,000yen." The farmer said, "I don't think it is fair. You are well educated. I am not. I am just a poor farmer. So let's change it. If you don't know, you give me ¥1,000, but if I don't know, I only give you ¥500. The banker thought a minute. "OK." he said. The farmer said, "I will go first. What has three legs and can fly?" "The banker thought a minute and then said, "I don't know. Here is your ¥1,000." He continued, "Now it is my turn, What has three legs and can fly?" The farmer said, "I don't know. Here is your ¥500."
