Q: Can’t He (God) make us good?
A: What kind of good?
Q: I ask the questions, not you!
A: Okay
Q: Why does God allow the evil in the world?
A: Because He loves us, all of us.
Q: Then why does He allows us to hurt each other?
A: He respects our right to choose even if someone else gets hurt.
Q: Couldn’t He stop us from hurting each other?
A: That is what He is trying to do.
Q: To me, He isn’t trying very hard.
A: He is interested in a permanent solution.
Q: What do you mean?
A: He wants us to stop hurting each other because we want to.
Q: Why can’t He just keep those who hurt in jail or something?
A: Most of us have tried to hurt others. Most of us would be in jail.
Q: Well what is His plan?
A: Thank you for asking. He wants us to love Him and what He loves.
Q: What does He love?
A: He loves everyone.
Q: So if we love Him and we love what He loves we will love everyone?
A: That’s right and we will choose stop hurting each other.
Q: Is it that simple?
A: There are details of course, but that is a simple summary of God’s plan.
